Service of Remembrance
Advent and Christmas are times for memories and remembering. For some, this is a particularly difficult season, especially when beloved family members and friends have died, and the pain of their loss is very present. For others, the longing for happier times, the anguish of broken relationships, the insecurity of employment, and the challenges of poor health overshadow the season. In the midst of festivities and celebration, we can feel very much alone.
Please joins us for a service of remembrance that will be part of the December 15 contemplative worship service at 7:30pm in the chapel. We will gather to acknowledge our sadness and grief; we will seek God's healing and restoration; and we will offer one another the gift of friendship.
If you know someone who is grieving at this time of year, invite them to come to this contemplative worship service.
The Living Word of God, Brightness of Everlasting Light and Sun of Righteousness, comes to give light to all who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death.
